Expanded Food Menu Too!
We're launching our newly expanded food menu and Happy Hour at the Greenlake Wines wine bar this Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This should be a really big party considering we will also be hosting our regular Thursday wine tasting during the same hours. The Happy Hour will then continue everyday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. featuring wine and food specials.

This week we'll be featuring three menu items priced at just $3 each.
Pulled Pork Slider $3
This is our most popular item on the menu. The smoky, juicy pulled pork (no BBQ sauce!) is loaded into a fresh potato roll and served with my own coleslaw. The slaw is dressed with a creamy sauce of olive oil, lemon juice, yogurt and a drop of honey and sprinkled with toasted caraway and fennel seeds. I'm very proud of this one.
Cremini Panini $3
I'm reprising this incredibly popular sandwich that was a cornerstone of the menu at the wine bar at the Elliott Wine Outlet. It's so simple and so good. Onto slices of rustic bread I layer cremini mushrooms, Brie cheese and more mushrooms and then grill it in the panini machine until the crust is crispy and the cheese starts to ooze. Even devout carnivores love this sandwich.
Smoked Sausage with Tangy German Potato Salad and Fried Corn $3
I smoke the sausages myself, although I don't make them. I do make the potato salad though. I steam purple, yellow and white creamy new potatoes and dress them with olive oil, lemon juice, mustard, Sherry vinegar and honey - no mayo! The corn is sautéed quickly in
